There’s a prophecy in the Bible of the end of time:
“For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” (I Cor. 15:52)
Angel trumpets have traditionally been painted as these golden long affairs, but when I see these rhododendrons I see resounding trumpets, and the promise of change.
Painted using walnut-based oils on gallery sized canvas (1.5 inches thick). I have painted the sides of the canvas to seamlessly continue the image so that no framing is necessary.
