My Cup Overflows

Visiting Butchart Gardens in the early spring you have this wild indoor garden experience - they transform a restaurant into an enormous rambling garden with blossoming trees and even a bridge over a koi pond. I have never found geraniums particularly beautiful, but these ones were other-worldly. The title is taken from the 23rd Psalm:

“You have anointed my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surly goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.”

Painted using walnut-based oils on gallery sized canvas (1.5 inches thick). I have painted the sides of the canvas to seamlessly continue the image so that no framing is necessary.
