Poppies that spring up, with no work on my part, feel like a present. Many people ask me why I paint flowers, and perhaps it’s because their beauty always feels extravagant - an unexpected act of friendship from the Creator.
Painted using walnut-based oils on gallery sized canvas (1.5 inches thick). I have painted the sides of the canvas to seamlessly continue the image so that no framing is necessary.
